I am so happy to be teaching at Little Blessings! I am a mom to two wonderful daughters who have both attended Little Blessings Christian Preschool and I am so excited to meet the children who will come to preschool this year! My girls loved learning and playing at preschool and I am looking forward to all of the fun busy-ness of learning to come starting in September. Before having children I earned my BEd and taught with Edmonton Public Schools in elementary classrooms. I stayed home when I had my daughters while also caring for other children, volunteering in my girls' school and enjoying the season of motherhood.
As a family, my husband Mark, my girls, Quinn and Sadie, and I love to swim. I also love to hike, listen to podcasts while I knit and try to grow things in my garden. I am so looking forward to the exciting year ahead where I know we will learn so much together. |
Medhini SharmaEducation AssistantI was born and raised in Punjab, India. Five years ago, I relocated to Canada, where I pursued and earned my Early Childhood Educator certification. My passion for nurturing young minds led me to begin my career in the childcare field in 2023. I find immense joy in spending time with children, guiding them in their social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development. My approach to early childhood education is rooted in creating a supportive and engaging environment where children feel safe to explore, learn, and grow.
In addition to my professional life, I am deeply passionate about dancing, singing, and social work. These hobbies allow me to express my creativity and connect with my community. I actively participate in dance and singing shows, which bring me great joy and fulfillment. I believe in living life with energy and positivity, qualities that I bring into both my personal and professional interactions. I am happily married; my husband is the pillar of my life, providing unwavering support and encouragement in all my endeavours. Together, we are blessed with three beautiful daughters who are the light of our lives. Our family is the centre of my world, and I am dedicated to balancing my professional aspirations with my role as a loving wife and mother. |
Allison RossadministratorMy family became members of St. Paul’s after my daughter began preschool here in the 4 year old program. We felt so welcome in the church after attending a few Sunday’s that it became our regular church. Prior to starting a family, I worked in the hospitality industry in both front desk and catering.
My husband and I have been blessed with three wonderful children, our youngest two both have a chromosome disorder. After having my eldest son, I was fortunate to be a stay-at-home mom. After my daughter was born and we received her diagnosis, I have added many other duties to that role, but one of the most important is Advocate. Our favourite family activity is camping in our motorhome. I also enjoy reading, when time permits. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. |
